    Connect inbord to Claude

    To work with Claude on a project, you had to copy the brief over, send the client's files again and paste their feedback. Connected to inbord, Claude reads them straight from your projects, read-only.

    Connect

    On claude.ai and in the Claude apps

    1. Open Settings → Connectors, then “Add custom connector”.
    2. Name it inbord and paste this address:

    1. Click “Connect”. inbord's page opens: sign in to your inbord account if needed.
    2. Read what Claude will be able to read, then “Allow reading”. You're back in Claude, connected.

    Then run /mcp in Claude Code and pick inbord to sign in.

    You need an inbord account. The connector works on the free plan as well as on Pro. Create an account

    What you can ask

    • “Summarize the brief of Clara's “Brand identity” project and list what I'm missing to get started.”
    • “Read the open feedback on the v3 mockup and turn it into a list of fixes, from quickest to longest.”
    • “Look at the logo my client uploaded and suggest three color directions that stay consistent with it.”
    • “Which projects are waiting on me, and which have a due date this week?”
    • “Read the PDF specification of the “Showcase website” project and draft a proposed sitemap.”

    What Claude reads

    Your projects and those of workspaces you belong to: name, client, status, due date.

    Read a project get_project

    The description, the instructions given to the client, the brief's questions and your client's answers, the requested files and the list of files.

    Read a file read_file

    The content of a file your client uploaded or of one of your deliverables: an image as is, the text of a PDF or of a text file. Videos, archives and working files can't be read.

    Read feedback get_feedback

    Your client's feedback on deliverables, with replies and where it sits: position on an image or a page, moment in a video, element of a website.

    Read messages list_messages

    The messages exchanged with your client on a project.

    What Claude can never do

    • change, delete or send anything, or write to your client
    • open the vault: the passwords and access your clients entrusted to you
    • see your billing, your payments or your clients' email addresses
    • read another account's projects

    Security and privacy

    • Claude never sees your password: you sign in on inbord, which gives it access limited to reading your projects.
    • That access only reads. It is refused by the database and by the rest of inbord, even if it were used elsewhere.
    • Every read is listed in My account → Security, and you get an email the first time an app reads your projects.
    • Your clients' files and messages are given to Claude as content to read, never as instructions to follow.
    • What Claude reads is processed by Anthropic under your Claude account's terms. You remain responsible for what you share of your clients' data. Privacy policy

    Revoke access

    In inbord, My account → Security → Connected apps, click “Revoke”. Claude can no longer read anything from its next request. You can also remove the connector in Claude's settings.

    Something wrong?

    • “Sign-in to inbord required”: access was revoked or expired. Reconnect the connector in Claude.
    • “Project not found”: the project no longer exists, or it belongs to a workspace you're not a member of.
    • A file can't be read: only images (5 MB max), PDFs that contain text (30 MB) and text files (512 KB) can be read. Others open in inbord.
