inbord for motion designers
An online space for your clients: brief, source files and approval of every stage
With inbord, you open a space for each of your clients. Your client fills in the brief, provides their source files and approves the script, the storyboard, the animatic and then the final animation. Every approval is recorded. They get in through a link, without creating an account.
Free, no credit card. Your client has no account to create.

The usual problems
Changes arrive after the animation
When the script or storyboard wasn't clearly approved, a late change means redoing sequences that are already animated.
Source files are missing
Low-resolution logo, missing typeface, poor-quality voiceover: the project waits for the right files.
Several people give conflicting feedback
On your client's side, several people comment through different channels, and their requests contradict each other.
How it works with inbord
Your client gets a link. Everything else happens in their space.
- 1
A complete creative brief
Key message, audience, length, tone, references, who approves what. Your client answers before production starts.
- 2
Your client provides the source files
Vector logo, typefaces, guidelines, voiceover: you ask for the files you need, your client uploads them to the space.
- 3
One approval per stage
Script, storyboard, animatic, animation: each stage is a deliverable your client approves in one click. Every approval is recorded.
- 4
You deliver the final exports
The final exports and their variations in one place, up to 50 GB per file. The balance can follow approval, by card.
The questions to ask in your brief
What a good brief should ask, for motion designers. With inbord, your client answers in their space, and you reuse the questionnaire on every project.
- What's the one message the viewer must remember?
- Who is the video for, and where will it be seen?
- What length, and which output formats?
- Are there animation references you love, and others to avoid?
- Are the voiceover and music provided?
- Who approves each stage, and who has the final say?
Your questions
Can I get the storyboard approved separately?
Yes. Each deliverable is approved on its own: the script, then the storyboard, then the animatic. The approval stays dated in the space, which keeps a closed stage from being reopened.
Can several people at my client follow the project?
The space link can be shared internally at your client. Everyone sees the same project status, and feedback arrives in the same place.
Can my client see my working files?
No, only what you upload to their space. Files are private, and only open through short-lived signed links.
