inbord for videographers

An online space for your clients: brief, files and approval of every cut

With inbord, you open a space for each of your clients. Your client fills in the brief, sends their files, watches every version of the film and approves the final cut. They get in through a link, without creating an account.

Fictional example of an inbord client space for videographers.

    The usual problems

    The brief changes mid-project

Changes to length, music or content come in by email as the project goes on, and you have to dig them up when it's time to edit.

Versions go out through different links

Each version is sent via WeTransfer, Drive or Vimeo. Links expire and your client no longer knows which version to comment on.

Files are too big for email

Your client's videos and high-resolution exports go past the limits of free transfer tools.

    How it works with inbord

Your client gets a link. Everything else happens in their space.

    1. 1

Your client fills in the brief

Length, formats, mood, music, must-have moments. Changes are made in the space, not by email.

    2. 2

      Large files go through

Up to 50 GB per file, both ways. Your client uploads their phone videos, you upload the versions of the film.

    3. 3

Every version is uploaded to the space

V1, V2, V3 follow one another in the space. Your client comments on the right version and approves the final cut.

    4. 4

      Payment and reminders

Optionally, deposit and balance by card, held until approval. And inbord follows up with your client for you if the space stays unopened.

The questions to ask in your brief

What a good brief should ask, for videographers. With inbord, your client answers in their space, and you reuse the questionnaire on every project.

    • How long should the film be, and do you need short formats for social media?
    • Which moments are must-haves?
    • What musical mood, and do you have songs in mind?
    • Do you want voices (speeches, vows, interviews) in the film?
    • Where will the video be shown: screen, social media, projection?
    • How many rounds of feedback are planned before the final cut?

    Your questions

Can my clients watch the video without downloading it?

Uploaded files open as a preview in the space when the browser can play them. For a very large export, downloading remains the safest option.

What if my client approves an old version by mistake?

Every file is dated and named in the space, and approval applies to a specific deliverable. You see exactly what was accepted, and when.

How much does inbord cost for a videographer?

The free plan covers one active client. The Pro plan, at €14.99 a month, unlocks unlimited clients, your brand on the spaces and 25 GB of storage.
